Noto · Sicily · Italy
A private oasis among ancient olive trees — infinity views over the Ionian, Sicilian silence, and nothing to interrupt you.
The Philosophy
Villa Magnus was conceived as an antidote to the ordinary. Surrounded by hundreds of ancient olive trees on the limestone plateau between Noto and the sea, it is a place where time slows, beauty is everywhere, and silence becomes a luxury in itself.
The Pool
The centrepiece of Villa Magnus is a 12-metre chlorine-free infinity pool whose edge dissolves into the Ionian Sea beyond. Saline, sun-warmed, and utterly silent — it is the defining memory every guest takes home.
Sunbeds, shade, and the scent of olive trees. Nothing more is needed.
The Interiors
Three spacious bedrooms dressed in natural rattan, linen, and cotton. Light-filled, serene, and designed to feel like a considered home rather than a hotel room.
A fully equipped kitchen, expansive living area, and a terrace that was made for long evenings and unhurried dinners.
The Land
The villa sits within a vast private garden of hundreds of ancient olive trees — a working orchard that has shaped this landscape for centuries. It provides complete privacy, deep shade, and a connection to place that no resort can replicate.

Guest Experiences
Our stay was truly unforgettable. The interior design was top-notch — every detail thoughtfully curated. It felt like staying in a dream home. Panoramic vistas that made every sunrise and sunset feel magical.
We loved our stay and instantly felt at home. The views are absolutely stunning. The house is beautifully decorated and the surroundings so peaceful. Check-in and check-out flexible and human — which has become so rare.
The charm of this property lies in its tranquility and privacy. An unexpectedly elegant and refined place despite its secluded location, immersed in typical Sicilian nature. A rare and enjoyable experience.
This was by far the best place we ever stayed at on Airbnb. Super modern, well equipped, stunning view. It is so wonderful we can't even describe. One wakes up with birds chirping and falls asleep with crickets.
Big bedrooms, big bathrooms, a big great room. Modern, functional and very comfortable in every way. Super peaceful and tranquil location with an AMAZING view to the sea. Host was very responsive.
Perfect location, peace and quiet. Very comfortable beds and beautiful terrace. Salvatore was a perfect host — attentive and very helpful. Highly recommended.

The Region
Villa Magnus sits at the heart of the most beautiful corner of Sicily. Everything worth seeing is within an hour — here are our personal recommendations.
A perfectly preserved fishing village with one of Sicily's most beautiful piazzas. Start with a focaccia at Premiata Focacceria Mazzini, browse the tuna conserves at Campisi, and end with an aperitivo on the waterfront. A full half-day.
20 minThe crown jewel of Sicilian Baroque — a UNESCO World Heritage city built entirely from honey-gold limestone. Wander the Corso, visit the cathedral at sunset, and stop at Caffè Sicilia for what many consider the best granita in Italy.
15 minConsistently voted one of Italy's most beautiful beaches — a wild, protected cove within the Vendicari Nature Reserve. No sun loungers, no crowds, no noise. Just white sand and crystal water. Arrive early in summer.
30 minOne of Sicily's most celebrated estates, and the closest to the villa. Call ahead to book a cellar tour and tasting — the Nero d'Avola and Fiano are exceptional. The setting among ancient vines is worth the visit alone.
20 minThe chocolate capital of Sicily — a steep, dramatic Baroque city where the ancient Aztec recipe for cold-process chocolate is still made. Visit Antica Dolceria Bonajuto (founded 1880) and don't leave without a bar of chilli chocolate.
30 minAn island city that was once the most powerful Greek colony in the Mediterranean. The Greek temple embedded in the cathedral facade, the Fonte Aretusa spring, and the evening passeggiata along the waterfront are not to be missed.
